Plants

The Reserve contains a large diversity of plants, more than 550 species of wild plants, due to its vast area and varied environments.

These species are characterized by their ability to withstand harsh conditions as they are found in dry desert environments. Herbs and shrubs represent the largest proportion of plant species, while trees make up the smallest proportion.
